THE STAGE AND SURROUNDINGS:

The shows take place at royal gardens of Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanów in the green area. The stage is situated between Orangery building and Water Pumping Station. The entrance to the royal gardens of Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanów is situated on the right side, close to Poster Museum.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

You can take your sunbeds, camping mat, folding chairs and picnic blankets. If you choose folding chair, please bear in mind choosing the right place, so you do not disturb other spectators watching the show. There is plenty of space on the grass and on the slope, everybody will find a perfect place and we promise to do our best during this year XI edition of „Shakespeare in the park”.
There is a restroom accessible for all visitors close to the venue. Each show lasts more than 2 hours without intervals. During the show you can change your seating place or have a walk. Please take into consideration the comfort of other spectators while watching the show.

HOW TO GET HERE:

Public transport:
– bus stop Wilanów,

– bus lines: 116, 180, 131, 164, 251, 519, 317, 263.

By car:
– access from districts Centrum / Powiśle / Saska Kępa / Żoliborz / Bielany – by Powsińska street,
– access from Mokotów district – by Aleja Wilanowska,
– access from Ursynów / Bemowo / Wola / Tarchomin / Targówek / Wawer / Otwock – by Południowa Obwodnica Warszawy.
We recommend checking driving directions and choosing the most convenient route according to current traffic.

Parking:
– Wilanów district is not included in unguarded paid parking zone (Strefa Płatnego Parkowania Niestrzeżonego).
– in Wilanów district you can park car within designated parking spaces.

There are two public parking places 10 minutes walking from the Palace:
– parking place close to the historic railway station Wilanów,
– parking place next to Wilanow Cemetery.

There are designated parking places along the streets: Cendrowskiego, Stanisława Kostki Potockiego and Kolegiacka. There are also some paid parking places, we recommend to check in advance availability of the places and parking fees. According to high demand on our shows, we recommend to set aside time to find a parking place.
