International Theatre Day is the moment we’ve been waiting for to share this special news with you!
To celebrate today’s holiday and the upcoming jubilee edition of Shakespeare in the Park, it’s time for a drumroll as we announce this year’s premiere title! Presenting:
THE COMEDY OF ERRORS directed by John Weisgerber.
Why this play? Because a jubilee deserves a dose of pure energy, laughter, and absolute stage madness!
What do you need to know about this title?
It is one of William Shakespeare’s earliest and most dynamic plays. You can expect:
Double Vision: Two pairs of separated twins (masters and their servants) end up in the same city, sparking an avalanche of absurd misunderstandings.
A Masterful Farce: This is Shakespeare at his most entertaining – full of humor, brilliant wit, and unexpected plot twists.
The Perfect Open-Air Vibe: There is no better place for a story about chaos, love, and finding one’s identity than our outdoor stage.
We’ve invited an incredible team of professionals to collaborate on this year’s premiere: Set Design – Wojciech Stefaniak, Costumes – Kornelia Dzikowska-Demirska, Music – Marcin Nierubiec & Szymon Suchoń, Choreography – Ewelina Adamska-Porczyk.
On stage, you will see: Michał Podsiadło, Jakub Wons, Bartosz Jędraś, Piotr Nerlewski, Monika Dryl, Katarzyna Kołeczek, Barbara Bursztynowicz, Jacek Bursztynowicz, Tamara Arciuch, Dominik Bąk, Sebastian Bieżyński, Bartek Kasprzykowski, Jowita Kropiewnicka, Łukasz Kurczewski, Łukasz Mazurek, Maciej Nawrocki, Maurycy Popiel, Samanta Zwolennik.
Get ready for evenings full of laughter, because this summer in the park, nothing will be what it seems! Stay tuned – details regarding dates will be announced soon.
Let’s celebrate today, for life is a theater!
The moment we’ve been waiting for all year is finally here. We are proud to announce that Shakespeare in the Park is back for its special 10th ANNIVERSARY EDITION!
In July 2026 we meet where the classics feel most at home – in the gardens of the Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanów. Under the starry sky, surrounded by royal architecture, we will celebrate a decade of our encounters with the Bard of Stratford. Since it’s a jubilee, we’re setting the bar incredibly high. Save the date and get ready for unforgettable evenings full of emotion, humor, and reflection.
More details and ticket information will be released soon. Stay tuned!
First off, I’d like to say that this has been an absolutely wonderful season of Shakespeare!
We would also like to express our immense gratitude and joy that almost 40,000 of you joined us, rain or shine, through our first 5 week season with Twelfth Night & A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
In 2026 we will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary… a milestone for us here at Szekspir w Parku / Shakespeare In The Park.
We are looking forward to sharing another spectacular summer with you and I will be introducing a new production of one of Shakespeare’s most farcical comedies, along with the return of Twelfth Night.
Many Thanks & See You All Next Year!
John Weisgerber
